Thorough Examination (Lifting Operation and Lifting Equipment Regulation, (LOLER)
Whatever your equipment, we base machines on hourly, daily, weekly or monthly routines, tailored to the machines work load and environment thus ensuring that the machine is neither serviced too regularly or too infrequently.
Investigative examinations and/or repairs can be carried out on site.

Service Repairs & Loler
Thorough Examination or LOLER (Lifting operation and Lifting Equipment Regulation)
It is now a legal requirement to use only a trained and qualified personnel to inspect, maintain or repair your forklift(s) and access equipment.
Use only licensed gas fitters to repair and/or replace parts on LPG forklifts.
Ensure forklift gauges are functioning properly at all times.
Proper maintenance of a forklift will help prevent major downtime and large repair expenses.
The more you use your forklift, the more often you should have it serviced & thoroughly examined by a trained forklift engineer.
A forklift that gets heavy use or is in an arduous environment will require a forklift inspection and/or maintenance visit every 4 months.
It is now a legal requirement for all forklift trucks and access equipment to have a current valid Thorough Examination (LOLER)
(Lifting and Operating and Lifting Equipment Regulations) or LOLER certificate issued either 6 or 12 monthly.
Minimum interval between examinations
12 months Any truck working up to 40 hours per week, without attachments other than a side-shift (Mandatory)
6 months Any truck for elevating a person(s) (scissor lift and cherry pickers, forklift with man-up cage) (Mandatory)
6 months De-mountable lift trucks (Moffatt Mounty, Manitou)
6 months Any truck working between 40 and 80 hours per week.
6 months Any attachment not permanently fitted to a truck (fork mounted or hydraulic)
4 months Any truck working in excess of 80 hours per week.
4 months Any truck working in arduous conditions such as :
By this we mean Marine environments, corrosive chemical environments, metal manufacturing or processing cement / aggregate processing, or where abrasive particles are present, brine processes.
Note: When an attachment is permanently fitted to a truck the attachment will be thoroughly examined as though it were part of the truck, at the same time interval as that truck.
